Connecting Your First Server

Quick Steps

1. Launch CATerm and unlock your local encrypted vault using your Master Password.
2. Click the + Add Host button on the top right of the dashboard.
3. Enter a server label, IP address/domain, port (default 22), and username.
4. Select your authentication method (Password, SSH Private Key, or Vault-managed Key).
5. Click Save & Connect. The interactive PTY session will launch immediately in a new tab.
